MELISSA RESTUCCIA'S GRAY CAT RESTORATION LLC.

For over 32 years Melissa delivered a high achieving visual arts program in various public schools. Upon her retirement in June of 2025 she accepted a part-time position as the Vestal Museum Director. Her home studio opened nearly ten years ago allowing her to teach privately in her spare time and develop a body of personal works. Melissa works mainly in acrylics on canvas but also has an array of hand printed linocut and intaglio prints. Her paintings focus on nostalgic items, crows and winged creatures. She selects her subject matter to fit her whimsical notions of life. She is currently adding three-dimensional elements  to her canvases. Beyond creating original art she restores religious and secular plaster statuary for the Central New York Region.
